I stopped by the The Party Kings annual Crawfish Boil on Saturday evening. Since I am lazy as hell, I did not bother with the crawfish. However, I am pleased to report the jambalaya was fantastic. Although it could have been a bit spicier.

Shortly after arriving, I ran into recurring Propeller Skies character Terry. We chilled at a table and had a few beers while the crowd filtered in. After grabbing something to eat, Terry split.

The crowd at the Crawfish Boil was interesting. Out of close to 2,000 people, I knew about five. In contrast to the usual singles events I cover, there were plenty of couples and several large groups of friends.

The event was a good time and a great value. I recommend going next year.
