I've lived in Columbus for the better part of 30 years and have never seen or heard of a salmon roast. You are blessed to have found one! I have attended sweet corn festivals, ox roasts, pumpkin festivals, bratwurst festivals, and many a county and state fair.
By your list of grievances against Ohio, you've never made it to the south-eastern part of the state. It's hilly, Appalachian, actually, and the police are too busy with moonshiners and their sisters for tickets.

Except for the state police part. I think Georgia has one for the entire state. Which is a good thing.

I'll take you up on that brewery tour.

I meant US 23. I get those two mixed up because they both run through Atlanta and US 29 violates the numbering scheme. But you should know the answer anyway, it goes through Winder and Athens.

"I am not particularly fond of Ohio for the following reasons:

    * The state is flat and boring;
    * There is a lot of it; and
    * Ohio has a never ending supply of state police."

Sounds a lot like Georgia to me!

Next time you're in the C-Bus, I'll take you around to another local brewery if you have the time.

I can't promise my directions will be any better, though. BTW, where the hell is US 29 anyway?

Pffft. At least you were in the right city, instead of, say, Pittsburgh, with your map conveniently sitting in the coat closet at your apartment.
